According to Stroh H &:1987, the most probable location of the
functional copy of IVL is 1q21-22 (the major signal of hybridization
is in q21). However, an additional site of the minor signal exists
(1p35-36), where a paralogous sequence or an IVL pseudogen is probably located. Contrary to the HGM catalogues, the GEM catalogue includes these data, although they are provisional; see also GEM:01q21/IVL." |
