Gillen et al. (Gillen-1996) report the cloning, sequence analysis, tissue distribution, and functional expression of the K-Cl cotransport protein, KCC1/SLC12A4. They found that much of the genomic sequence of hKCC1 has been in the data base, and the gene as a part of the gene cluster has been previously localized to 16q22.1 (Larsen-1993)." |
