Berkemeier-1992 identified a cluster of genes on Chr 19 that includes neurotrophin 5 and 3 additional acidic members of this protein family: neurotrophin 6 alpha (GEM:19q133/NTF6A), neurotrophin 6 beta (GEM:19q133/NTF6B), and neurotrophin 6 gamma (GEM:19q133/NTF6B). Ip-1992 mapped the NTF5 gene (called by them NTF4) and NTF5 pseudogene to 19q13.3." |
