Kwon-1995 assigned the SYT5 gene to mouse Chr 7 and predicted that the human gene is located on Chr 11p1. By PCR analysis of somatic cell hybrid DNA and by DNA hydridization to arrayed cosmids of the Chr 19 metric physical map Craxton-1997 mapped the SYT5 gene to Chr 19q13.4 very close to the SYT3 gene (GEM:19q1/SYT3)." |
