Entry - *180464 - RIBOSOMAL PROTEIN S20B; RPS20B - OMIM

* 180464

RIBOSOMAL PROTEIN S20B; RPS20B

HGNC Approved Gene Symbol: RPS20P4

Cytogenetic location: 5q32     Genomic coordinates (GRCh38): 5:150,021,531-150,022,050 (from NCBI)

TEXT

See 180466 for general information about ribosomal proteins.

Nakamichi et al. (1986) assigned cDNAs for several ribosomal proteins to specific human chromosomes by study of human/Chinese hamster hybrid cell clones. Some of these ribosomal protein DNA sequences are probably functional, whereas others are inactive pseudogenes. They mapped the RPS20B gene to 5q33-qter.
