HGNC Approved Gene Symbol: ZNF32
Cytogenetic location: 10q11.21 Genomic coordinates (GRCh38): 10:43,643,862-43,648,881 (from NCBI)
Cannizzaro et al. (1993) mapped the ZNF32 (KOX30) gene by in situ hybridization to chromosome 10q23-q24. The site is near that which, under certain in vitro conditions, demonstrates the development of fragile sites: FRA10D, FRA10A (608866), FRA10B, and FRA10E. Furthermore, deletions in the 10q23-q24 region have been observed in association with malignant lymphoma and carcinoma of the prostate.
