XG AND MIC2 EXPRESSION ON ERYTHROCYTES

Cytogenetic location: Yp11     Genomic coordinates (GRCh38): Y:1-10,400,000

TEXT

Goodfellow et al. (1987) presented evidence suggesting the existence of a pseudoautosomal locus that regulates the expression of MIC2 (313470) and XG (300879). This would place the postulated locus at Xp22.32 (Goodfellow, 1990) and at Yp11.
