Gene: [01p/IPP] intracisternal A particle-promoted polypeptide;

COM

A cDNA product of the gene has been identifed by using a mouse Ipp-specific cDNA probe, in a human placental cDNA library (Chang-Yeh-1993a); the authors reported that the cloned 690-bp insertion of the human IPP cDNA had 83% identity to the 3'-segment of the mouse Ipp cDNA. They assigned the IPP gene to Chr 1p32-22."
